The Kwara State Government through the State Ministry of Education embarked on the training of hundreds of its teachers across Government secondary schools in the State on Computer-Based Testing (CBT).

The training of selected teachers in the 744 Public Secondary Schools in the State was conducted by EasiPREP Nigeria Limited in collaboration with the Kwara State Ministry of Education. The continuous trend of mass failure of students particularly in public secondary schools in the country have been a major source of concern for most State Governments, some of who subsidize or pay for the examination fees of these students. The situation is likely to worsen as a growing number of examination bodies such as the Joint Matriculation Examination Board adopt computer-based modes of testing and examination considering that most of these students and their teachers are not familiar with this new mode of testing and examination.

Kwara State Government decided to take a pro-active step in addressing this ugly trend by engaging Easiprep Nigeria Limited to train the teachers as a high priority point of consideration knowing that these teachers are the ones who impart knowledge to the students and to avert a situation of the blind leading the blind.

The training was conducted successfully across the 3 Senatorial Districts in the State with positive feedback from the teachers and the Kwara State Ministry of Education personnel.

Reports of the training where carried out in major media outlets such as The Nation and The Nigerian Tribune Newspapers and the National Television Authority in the state.
